The American Racing ATX Series announces presenting sponsor and spec wheel of the 2011 Jeepspeed Challenge

 

CERRITOS, CALIFORNIA – (Dec 6, 2010) American Racing ATX Series Wheels are proud to be presenting sponsor of the 2011 General Tire Jeepspeed Challenge.

 

American Racing were the original sponsors of the Jeepspeed Challenge  and are returning to this successful grass roots desert racing championship with ATX Series as the spec wheel of choice.

 

This sponsorship commences Jan 1st 2011 and is for a 3 year period. The Jeepspeed Challenge is desert competition for similarly equipped Jeeps that are close to the Jeeps used everyday by hundreds of thousand of Jeep enthusiasts across America. It is the most affordable desert race class where Jeep weekend warriors can compete on the same race track alongside super stars.

 

ATX will be sponsoring six new wheels to the first 30 teams to enter a Jeepspeed race in 2011. These wheels will be made up either a brand new ATX style for 2011, the “Slot” or one of the most popular styles since the brand was launched, the “Mojave”.

 

Kevin Fitzgerald of American Racing says “that the ATX Series wheels are the ideal wheel for all Jeep owners so it is a natural fit for us to be The Presenting Sponsor of the Jeepspeed Challenge”.

 

There will be five Jeepspeed Challenge events per season in California, Arizona and Nevada. Jeepspeed teams also compete in their own class at many other events including the Baja 1000.
