- As a result of feedback from our competitors Jeepspeed
has decided to once more adopt the Best in the Desert
Pro-points scoring for 2014.
- Please note BITD points system has changed for the
new season. All races will have the same start points.
Finish points have increased on all races except Vegas
to Reno. Double position points will be given at Vegas
to Reno and at the final race in Henderson.
- The Jeepspeed Championships will be the best 5
results from the 6 race series. Racers will not be
required to start all 6 events but must compete in a
minimum of 5.
- There will be no Jeepspeed points at the Jeepspeed
reunion race. More news on this event later.
- Rookie of the Year will be the rookie driver who scores
highest in Championship Points i.e. best 5 of 6.
The Rookie of the Year is open to both Class 1700 and 3700.
To qualify for Rookie status a driver must not have been
driver of record in more than 2 previous Jeepspeed points races.
